As a History Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and thought-provoking History lessons across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 opportunities available
• Inspire students to develop a curiosity about the past and its influence on the modern world
• Encourage critical thinking, evaluation of sources, and independent learning
• Support students of all abilities to achieve strong academic outcomes
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Contribute to the wider life of the school and History department

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be working towards QTS
• Experience teaching History within a UK secondary school
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for History
• Excellent classroom management skills
• The ability to motivate and inspire young people
• A commitment to raising achievement and promoting a love of learning
