Trainee LEV Engineer through to Lead LEV Engineer

A leading name within the Clean Air industry, working across the UK on Food, Government, Pharmecutical and Educational sites is now seeking recruit a P601 qualified LEV Engineer based in and around the Basingstoke area. The successful candidate will have extensive experience undertaking Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) examinations, testing emissions, indoor air quality testing and writing bespoke site‑specific reports for clients.

• Previous or current experience working for an established Clean Air company would be beneficial to the role.
• At a minimum will hold the P601 qualification; holding the P602 would be desirable but not essential.
• Ideally holding experience carrying out Class 1, Class 2, Class 3 fume cupboard examinations.
• Must be able to demonstrate excellent working knowledge of relevant Health and Safety legislations.
• Will have excellent communication skills, written and verbal, and will be proficient in using IT systems.

• Working on a mixed portfolio of sites, carrying out Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV testing on dust/fume extraction systems, ensuring they employ relevant CoSHH/Health and Safety legislations.
• Testing emissions and indoor air quality.
• Visiting sites in line with client needs and dealing with any issues/queries efficiently.
• Collecting information from sites and producing detailed technical reports as well as approving assessments.
• Carrying out presentations for staff and contractors.
• Building and maintaining excellent working relationships with clients.
