Our client is a well-established geotechnical and geoenvironmental consultancy based in Guildford. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an Engineering Geologist to join an experienced team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive business where your work will have a direct impact, and you'll gain exposure to a diverse range of projects across the UK.

Working within a small, collaborative team, you'll be involved in every stage of ground investigation projects, from planning and site supervision through to reporting and client liaison. No two days are the same, with projects spanning residential, commercial, infrastructure and renewable energy developments.

The Role

• Supervising ground investigation works, including boreholes, trial pits and site investigations.
• Logging soil and rock to current industry standards.
• Collecting soil, rock and groundwater samples.
• Coordinating subcontractors and drilling crews on site.
• Preparing factual and interpretative ground investigation reports.
