Our client, a leading company in the construction sector, is currently seeking an experienced Senior Planner to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves working on significant Thames Water projects, providing a dynamic and rewarding opportunity in the water industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Developing and managing project schedules using Primavera P6

Ensuring project milestones and deadlines are effectively met Collaborating with project teams to maintain accurate scheduling and planning

Providing regular progress reports and updates to stakeholders

Identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies

Ensuring compliance with Thames Water guidelines and standards

Coordinating with various departments and contractors to ensure seamless project execution

Reviewing and updating project plans to reflect changes and progress

Job Requirements:

Experience with a tier 1 contractor in the civil sector

Proficiency in using Primavera P6 for project planning and scheduling

Understanding of Thames Water project requirements and standards

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Relevant qualification in civil engineering or a related discipline
