Salary:100k + Benefits Engineering Director - Highly Regulated Are you an experienced Engineering Director looking for your next challenge? My client is a leading manufacturer of highly regulated safety instrumentation, based in Camberley, Surrey, and is looking for an Engineering Director to lead its multi-disciplinary engineering function and drive the engineering strategy across the business.

This is a senior leadership role where you will be responsible for leading engineering teams across multiple disciplines, overseeing engineering delivery and ensuring the organisation continues to develop and deliver high-quality products within a highly regulated  this Engineering Director role based in Camberley, Surrey, you will be responsible for the following:
• Leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams across electronics, electrical, mechanical and other engineering disciplines.
• Developing and implementing the overall engineering strategy, ensuring it aligns with wider business objectives.
• Providing leadership and direction across engineering and R&D, ensuring projects and product development activities are delivered effectively.
• Overseeing engineering performance, processes and continuous improvement across the organisation.
• Ensuring engineering activities meet the required quality, safety, regulatory and compliance standards associated with highly regulated products.
• Working closely with senior leadership and other departments to align engineering priorities with commercial and operational objectives.
• Supporting the development of engineering capability, team structure and long-term technical strategy.

The successful applicant for this Engineering Director job based in Camberley, Surrey should have:
• Significant experience leading an engineering or R&D organisation, ideally within a highly regulated or safety-critical industry.
• Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams across areas such as electronics, electrical and mechanical engineering.
• Strong experience developing complex products within a regulated environment, with experience in industries such as defence, aerospace, medical, marine, industrial or other safety-critical sectors.
• A strong technical background with the ability to provide strategic and technical leadership across multiple engineering disciplines.
• Degree qualified in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead teams and influence at senior level.
• British citizenship is required due to the highly regulated nature of the products and industry.
