Our Finance Function Support team is a fast‑growing national service line that helps private businesses across the UK manage their finance operations more effectively. In this role, you’ll support the Southern region’s portfolio of SME corporate clients and assist with day‑to‑day finance needs, compliance and strategic growth.

• General bookkeeping for clients, processing data on multiple accounting software packages.
• Preparing management accounts under supervision, ensuring files meet required standards and are well‑documented for review.
• Preparing and reviewing VAT returns.
• Identifying incomplete or inaccurate client information and taking corrective action.

• Strong interest in supporting finance functions within small and medium‑sized businesses.
• Experience working in a professional accounting practice (ideal but not required).
• Excellent time‑management and organisational skills.
• Effective oral and written communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Experience with cloud‑based accounting packages such as Xero (ideal but not required).
