Role Description
We have a new opportunity for a Pricing Analyst to join our Allianz commercial lines Mid-Corp Pricing team. This will be a hybrid position aligned to our Guildford office.
The purpose of this role is to carry out analysis in order to support the Underwriting and Technical function in achieving the underwriting performance metrics detailed in the Corporate Plan.

Salary InformationPay:
Circa £36,000 per year.
Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.
About YouAs the Pricing Analyst you will be responsible for;
- Sourcing and processing appropriate pricing data (internal and external) into a format suitable for analysis.
- Developing new and innovative pricing models and algorithms in order to place the Company at the forefront of sophistication in the marketplace.
- Monitoring and controlling existing pricing structures within the relevant pricing platforms.
- Collaborating with stakeholders in rating systems delivery to ensure an efficient and accurate implementation of products and rating to market.
- Contributing to the content of formal meetings by performing analysis and preparing results.
- Identifying processes which could be improved, where necessary escalating such issues to line managers for support in resolution.
- Understanding key processes, procedures and targets and is able to communicate effectively with key stakeholders.
To be successful in this role you will;
- Understand how your own/the team's work contributes to business performance and customer outcomes.
- Make consistently sound decisions in own area of expertise or responsibility and refers when appropriate.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with the ability to communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Full working knowledge of tools appropriate to lines of business worked on (e.g. MS Excel, VBA and SAS (Enterprise Guide and/or Base), Willis Towers Watson Emblem, Classifier and Radar, Micro-strategy).
