We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Paraplanner to join a successful and forward-thinking financial planning team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys technical analysis, creating high-quality client solutions, and working closely with Financial Advisers to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing detailed suitability reports and financial planning recommendations
  • Conducting research and analysis across pensions, investments, protection, and retirement planning
  • Supporting Financial Advisers with client reviews and advice preparation
  • Analysing client information and preparing cashflow and financial planning documents
  • Liaising with providers and third parties to obtain relevant information
  • Ensuring all advice documentation meets compliance and regulatory standards
  • Maintaining accurate client records and updating internal systems
  • Supporting the smooth progression of client cases from initial advice through to completion
  • Keeping up to date with industry changes, regulations, and financial products
  • Building strong working relationships with advisers and internal teams
Experience and Skills Requirements
  • Previous experience within a Paraplanner role or similar financial planning support position
  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS) or equivalent qualification required
  • Strong technical knowledge across investments, pensions, protection, and retirement planning
  • Excellent report writing and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
  • Professional communication skills with a client-focused approach
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and financial planning software
  • Proactive, positive, and committed approach to personal development
