Strategic Finance Trustee - Community Charity

Cherry Trees is seeking an experienced Finance Trustee to join our Board. You'll provide strategic financial guidance that directly impacts our ability to grow and serve more people.

You'll work closely with the Chair to shape our long-term direction. Your financial expertise will guide critical decisions about our future.

• Provide expert financial guidance to the Board of Trustees
• Monitor and report on the charity's financial health with clear, insightful analysis
• Ensure robust financial systems and controls are in place
• Oversee preparation of financial reports, annual accounts, audits, and statutory returns
• Work closely with the Head of Finance to support decision-making
• Ensure financial affairs are managed with integrity and transparency

This role requires around 3 hours per month. You'll attend quarterly board meetings and provide ongoing financial oversight between meetings.

You'll have significant financial experience and a strategic mindset. You understand charity finances and want to use your skills to create positive change.

You'll ensure we meet all financial obligations and deadlines whilst maintaining accurate records at all times.
