Financial Project Controller – About

The Role

In this role you will be working within a medium sized finance team and will be reporting into the Financial Project Control Manager. You will be ensuring the effective financial control of various designated projects & bids. Your key responsibilities will be:

Working closely with project managers to ensure financial objectives are met and to play a key role within the project decision making process.

Regular review of project actual costs, commitments and forecasts with the project team.

Providing required management accounting project data according to the reporting schedule of the business.

Management of all customers financial reporting requirements & interaction with customers financial/reporting tools for both bids and projects.

Work across functions to resolve queries, mitigate issues and ensure project data is of the highest quality.

Operate as finance lead on bidding activities, involving reviewing & validating the bid costings.

Assist bid managers with bid presentation pack preparation.

The successful Financial Project Controller will have:

Previous experience in a similar position

Experience with in a project-related environment

Fully ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified

SAP experience is desirable
