Finance Business Partner; Projects​/Bids

Position: Finance Business Partner (Projects/Bids)
We are recruiting for a Finance Business Partner to join a well-established, project-led engineering organisation. This is a commercially focused finance role, partnering closely with Project Managers and operational teams to take ownership of the financial performance of a portfolio of projects and bids. You will:
Act as the finance lead across designated projects and bids. Partner with Project Managers to provide financial insight, challenge and support decision-making. Review project actuals, commitments, forecasts, profitability and cash flow. Support bid costing, financial assumptions and milestone payment plans. Monitor project risks and help identify appropriate recovery actions. Deliver regular project forecasting and management reporting. Work cross-functionally to improve financial performance, processes and data quality.

We are looking for someone with experience in a project finance, project accounting or project control environment. Ideally, you will have:

Experience with in engineering, manufacturing or another project-led environment. Knowledge of project accounting and IFRS 15. Exposure to costing, bidding and project/programme delivery. Strong commercial, analytical and stakeholder management skills. Advanced Excel skills. ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification, or a relevant degree, would be advantageous. S/4

HANA experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
