Commercial Finance Business Partner

Role Description Join our Commercial Finance Business Partnering team and play a key role in supporting the Commercial business across financial planning, performance analysis, budgeting, business modelling and strategic decision-making. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your commercial finance expertise while partnering with senior stakeholders and contributing to key business initiatives within a dynamic insurance environment.

This role is be based in our Guildford office, please note that this is a hybrid working role with the expectation that attend the office 40% of your time.

Salary Information Pay:
Circa 60,000 per year.

The salary offered will be based on your experience, skills and location and forms part of our market-leading total rewards package.

About You As a Finance Business Partner, you will:

Own and deliver monthly revenue and expense reporting, forecasting and analysis processes.

Communicate financial performance insights and forecasts to key stakeholders across the Commercial business.

Support and play a key role in the annual expense budgeting and planning process.

Partner with commercial teams to model new broker opportunities and evaluate business cases.

Produce business performance reporting, analysis and recommendations to support decision-making.

Respond to ad-hoc financial queries and provide commercial insight across the business.

Support corporate projects, business initiatives and change programmes.

Build strong relationships with stakeholders across finance and non-finance teams.

Identify opportunities to improve reporting, processes and financial models through automation and innovation.

Essential SkillsCIMA or ACCA qualified.

Knowledge of management accounting techniques and financial planning processes.

Experience providing financial advice, insight and support to senior stakeholders.

Ability to build effective relationships with colleagues across finance and non-finance functions.

Advanced Excel skills, including working with large data sets and developing complex financial models.

Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.

Ability to understand wider business objectives and apply financial insight to support decision-making.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Self-motivated with the confidence to challenge constructively and influence stakeholders.

Ability to prioritise workload, manage competing demands and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Aptitude for systems development and technology-enabled solutions.

Desirable Skills Experience working within the insurance sector.

Knowledge of Anaplan and experience using planning, forecasting or reporting systems.

Knowledge of financial performance reporting within a commercial environment.

Responsible Artificial Intelligence usage and an interest in leveraging AI tools to improve processes and business outcomes.
