Vestibular Diagnostic Audiology Team Leader

Join us at Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust as a clinically competent audiologist with substantial experience in Vestibular Diagnostic Audiology to lead specialised clinics. The role involves developing Vestibular Diagnostic services and providing vestibular treatment sessions.

The post holder will
lead on service development and training of junior staff, providing supervision, training and advice. They will liaise closely with other specialties and professionals, working with Audiology senior staff to continuously improve service delivery and oversee the personal development of junior staff.

The role is based in Guildford with potential travel to outreach clinics and domiciliary visits. It requires a flexible working pattern including potential 7‑day a week working, while core service hours are 9 am‑5 pm. Part‑time and full‑time applications are welcomed.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide Vestibular Diagnostic Audiology services to adults within a multi‑disciplinary team.
• Develop and modernise the service, creating innovative, patient‑focused models of care.
• Maintain high professional standards in scientific, technical, therapeutic, rehabilitation, and clinical activities of the service.
• Deliver patient care and manage workload efficiently.
• Provide professional advice consistent with departmental expertise.
• Drive service development and contribute to teaching and training of junior staff.
