Hours
: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (Part-time options available: 3 or 4 full days per week)

Join this compassionate and dedicated team at our adult day centre, where you'll support autistic learners aged 18 and over.
As a Support Worker, you will:
- Work both one‑on‑one and in small groups to help learners develop essential skills for greater independence, well‑being, and social engagement.
- Implement behaviour‑based teaching strategies and interventions to foster positive outcomes.
- Assist learners in applying their skills in practical, real‑life situations, both within our Centre for Lifelong Learning and out in the community.
- Provide comprehensive care, support, and educational assistance to autistic adult learners.
- Design and deliver lessons and activities that promote skill development and personal growth.
- Offer behaviourally‑informed support to reduce behaviours that impact the quality of life.
- Assist with personal care, including toileting, dressing, and hygiene, while encouraging learners to maintain these routines independently.
- Facilitate learners' involvement in social, leisure, and educational activities in the local community.
- Help learners access work experience and employment opportunities.
- Monitor and record learners' progress to ensure tailored, effective support.

- A driving licence or reliable transportation (due to the remote location).
