We are committed to providing robust clinical pathways and ensuring that people using our services have timely access to high quality, evidence-based psychological interventions. To support delivery of our clinical pathways we are investing in a range of psychological roles.

We are recruiting to two Psychologistsposts (Band 8a) to join our Adult Neighbourhood Community Mental Health Services across Surrey.

About the Role These roles will sit within and in some cases work across our new community neighbourhood teams, supporting the delivery of integrated, person-centred care.

As part of our transition to a neighbourhood model of care, we are developing integrated clinical pathways across primary, secondary care and crisis and emergency service. Our pathways embody strong partnership working with a wide range of statutory and VCSE providers and people with lived experience. This role is key in ensuring therapies pathways are high quality, effective and accessible across the adult age range, and that psychosocial interventions are embedded in wider service delivery.

Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential Doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology qualification or equivalent

Completion of an appropriate clinical supervision course to enable supervision of trainees (or completion within 6 months of commencement in post)

Experience

Essential

Experience of working with people from across the life span with a range of mental health issues and cognitive profiles.

Experience across a range of psychological models including systemic, behavioural and individual therapeutic

Demonstrable post registration/clinical experience and competency relevant to this care group

Experience of contributing to clinical practice/service development / project work

Experience of supervising assistant and trainee clinical psychologists

Demonstrable interest/skill in a relevant specialist area
