• Industry: National Security / Government
• Clearance: Active DV clearance required

• Supervise and coordinate a small group of Analysts delivering SOC operations across a range of platforms and engagements
• Continuously observe and analyse system activity to identify security alerts, intrusions, or behaviour that is abnormal, unauthorised, or malicious
• Evaluate, improve, and expand security safeguards to ensure alignment with an increasingly complex technical estate
• Deliver security education to staff, partners, and visitors through inductions, awareness initiatives, and targeted guidance materials
• Assist with maintaining compliance and accreditation for technical environments, including ISO 27001 and other recognised governance frameworks
• Act as a trusted point of contact for users requiring advice or assistance on security‑related concerns
• Work in partnership with the Operational Security Manager to mature and enhance SOC operational capability
• Maintain awareness of emerging cyber threats, attack techniques, and industry developments
• Actively build expertise and knowledge within the cyber and information security domain
• Operate within a rotating shift pattern to support round‑the‑clock SOC service provision

• Current Developed Vetting (DV) clearance is a mandatory requirement

• Use and operation of Security Information and Event Management platforms
• Familiarity with cloud‑based infrastructure and services
• Handling and coordination of security incidents from detection through resolution
• Identity and Access Management frameworks and controls
• Data classification schemes and secure information handling
• Leading, mentoring, and developing technical teams
