Stratospherec are working with a Guildford based Enterprise Management software company who have thousands of clients across the UK and Europe.

This Systems Administrator is a new position in their growing Dev Ops team of engineers and this role is integral to the continued success of the Tech Ops team as a central function that underpins the effective development and running of the ‘software as a service’ that this company supplies to their customers.

We are looking for candidates with 2 years or more commercial Dev Ops Engineering / Systems Administrator experience ideally in an AWS, Linux, No

SQL environment and with Python, Java or Bash Scripting experience.

Dev Ops Engineer
- Role Responsibilities:

* CI/CD Pipeline Management

* Automation: writing automation scripts

* Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
Provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure using tools like Terraform or Ansible.

* System Reliability & Monitoring

* Security & Compliance:
Integrating security (Dev Sec Ops ) into the Dev Ops lifecycle.

* Containerization:
Deploying and managing applications.

* Cloud Operations & Monitoring:
Monitor system performance, uptime, and security.

You will need Skills in some of the following:

* Scripting skills - Ideally Python, Bash or similar

* Provisioning with Terraform or Cloud Formation

* Containerisation with Kubernetes or similar

* Monitoring with tools like Data Dog, Prometheus or Grafana

* Database knowledge - No

SQL DBs - ideally Maria

DB or DynamoDB

* Linux knowledge - Ubuntu or Centos

* Experience working within an agile environment

* Knowledge of version control tools - GIT ideally

* Base Salary:
Competitive salary.
