IT Project Manager
Hawksworth are recruiting for an experienced Senior IT Release Manager to join a leading global insurance organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for an established Release Management professional to take ownership of release governance, planning and coordination across a complex, enterprise-scale IT environment.
Location: Guildford, Bournemouth or Birmingham (Hybrid – 2 days onsite per week)
Salary: Up to £78,000 + Benefits & Bonus

Key
Skills & Experience Required:
- Release Management: Extensive experience in a dedicated IT Release Manager role, within large corporate environments.
- Service Now: Strong practical experience using Service Now for ITSM, change and release processes.
- SIAM: Experience working within multi-vendor environments, coordinating releases across internal teams and external suppliers.
- ITIL v4: Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks, processes and best practices, ideally with ITIL v4 certification.
- IT Governance: Proven experience managing release governance, risk, dependencies, CAB approvals, release readiness and Go/No-Go decisions.
- Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and coordination skills across technical teams, business stakeholders and third-party suppliers.
- Agile & Dev Ops: Experience managing releases within modern Agile and Dev Ops delivery environments.
Candidates should have a strong background in enterprise IT Release Management, ideally gained within Insurance, Financial Services or another large, complex corporate organisation

Location: Applicants must be able to commute to Guildford, Bournemouth or Birmingham twice per week.
