Service & Technical Support Engineer - Smart Home / AV
Guildford | Office-based with some site visits | Mon-Fri, 9-5 | Salary DOE
A market-leading high-end Smart Home installer is looking for a Service & Technical Support Engineer to join its Aftercare team. You'll be the first technical point of contact for clients and will solve as much as possible remotely.
The role- Run the Zendesk helpdesk and triage new issues within two hours
- Diagnose and fix AV, networking, lighting control and smart home faults remotely
- Own tickets through to resolution and keep clients updated throughout
- Attend some maintenance visits, takeovers and occasional callouts
- Experience supporting high-end residential AV and smart home systems
- Advanced networking skills (VLANs, DHCP, DNS, managed switches, Wi-Fi, PoE)
- Control4, Crestron (Home and Custom) and Lutron experience
- Strong organisation and clear communication with clients
- A full UK driving licence
- 32 days' holiday (including your birthday)
