Perfect Household Staff is delighted to present an exceptional opportunity for an experienced and dedicated Housekeeper to support two sisters who are relocating to their brand-new homes in Effingham, Guildford, Surrey. Effingham is a picturesque and highly regarded village surrounded by rolling countryside, yet conveniently positioned for Guildford and the wider Surrey region. Both principals value high standards, long-term commitment, and meticulous silver care for their new properties.

The households are modern, elegant, and furnished to an impeccable standard, offering a rewarding working environment for a professional seeking stability and longevity.

Working as a Housekeeper in this type of role requires a strong eye for detail, exemplary organisation, and the ability to maintain luxury homes to the highest standards. This includes caring for high-end finishes and brand-new furniture, supporting the principals during their move, managing contractors, and ensuring the smooth running of two homes located a short nine-minute drive from each other.

The successful candidate will also provide occasional pet care for the sisters’ small dogs. As the properties are situated in a semi‑rural, affluent area, a driving licence and personal vehicle are essential.

Only candidates who have the eligibility to work in the UK will be considered for this role.

• Ensuring both brand-new houses are maintained to an impeccable standard, including deep cleaning and daily upkeep.
• Providing expert silver care and maintaining luxury furnishings and interiors.
• Overseeing laundry and ironing of high-end garments, ensuring proper handling and presentation.
• Assisting the principals with the moving-in process and organisation of their new homes.
• Managing contractors and coordinating any required works or visits.
• Offering occasional care for the small dogs belonging to each sister.
• Travelling between the two properties using the Housekeeper’s personal vehicle.
• Preparing simple meals would be a bonus, though this is not an essential requirement.

• Three or more years of private housekeeper experience.
• Two excellent, checkable references.
• Conversational level of English.
• Valid UK working permit.
• Driving licence and personal vehicle.
