About the Role

Working closely with the Premises & Compliance Manager, you’ll help ensure our sites remain safe, compliant, and operating efficiently. From planned maintenance and repairs to health and safety compliance and site improvements, you’ll play a key role in maintaining high‑quality facilities for staff and students.

Your Responsibilities
  • Carry out reactive and planned maintenance across multiple sites
  • Perform building repairs, refurbishments, and grounds maintenance
  • Support health and safety compliance, including fire alarm testing and legionella management
  • Record maintenance and compliance activities using our CAFM system
  • Assist with site development projects and facility improvements
  • Help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors
What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who is practical, reliable, and takes ownership of their work.

  • Experience in general building maintenance, facilities, or site management
  • Skills in electrics, plumbing, construction, or a related trade
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety regulations
  • Experience carrying out repairs and preventative maintenance
  • Basic IT skills and confidence using digital systems
  • Strong problem‑solving abilities and a customer‑focused approach
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff, contractors, and stakeholders at all levels
