Regional Installation Manager

Due to continued expansion the Gooding Group is looking to add to its Regional Installation Management Team in various locations around the country. For clarity we are looking for a number of individuals who will be able to fulfil roles in their local region, and having identified the ideal candidates we will look to amend the boundaries of our existing teams to accommodate those new individuals.

We have placed adverts with geographical centres in the North, the Midlands and the South and we welcome applicants throughout the country who are looking to join our expanding team. The Gooding Group is a privately owned business based in Sheffield that specialises in the supply of fitted furniture to the new build sector. We include within our offering pretty much anything that fitted furniture could entail for the New Build Sector apart from kitchens - wardrobes, under stairs installs and home offices being key within our existing portfolio.

If you do not know the name the Gooding Group you are probably not best applying and I should make clear that the only applicants who will get through the initial vetting phase are ones whose current role or recent historic experience is directly related to the skill set we need, i.e.:
Proven history in the management of the installation of fitted furniture to the New Build Sector with one of the other leading national organisations. Proven contacts with regional installers who carry out subcontract installations to new build sites. Proven history in sourcing new install capacity within their region. An understanding of the need to follow existing procedures, and add to, to ensure the kit we are installing achieves standard.

Ensure anyone connected with our team fully complies with any and all Health and Safety requirements. Proven ability to engage with our customers in the appropriate manner, from Assistant Site Manager to Construction Director, with a commercial awareness of the expected communication standard. An understanding of the importance to secure off our customers build programmes and then manage installations to such.

For clarity these roles are field-based roles. Whilst there will typically be a period of time each week working from home, the majority of your working week will be attending customers locations, be that operational sites or regional offices, carrying out inspections with our field installation teams and carrying out reviews and audits on recently installed product. This is an exciting time for the Gooding Group, during which we are going through a substantial expansion, having recently moved into our purpose-built new factory, and we welcome this opportunity to bring the right individuals into our team.

The salary will be competitive within the sector, the motor car provided is a Skoda Superb Estate Hybrid and the relevant IT will of course also be made available. Given the importance of these new additions to our team interviews are being carried out directly by our MD, Lloyd Gooding, who looks forward to discussing things with you shortly. The likely process will be a Teams discussion soon after application to pass Lloyds first vital test, I need to be able to enjoy a beer with anyone I work with, followed by a more exhaustive face to face interview in our factory in Sheffield.
