Building Services Manager

Main Contractor delivering a large residential development in Guildford is seeking an experienced Building Services Manager to manage a £20m MEP package.

The scheme is already in preconstruction and runs through to 2028, with secured projects in London following completion.

The Role

You will take full site responsibility for mechanical and electrical delivery, reporting to the Project Manager and leading an Assistant Building Services Manager.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing the M&E subcontractor on site

• Driving installation sequencing across multiple blocks

• Programme management and short term look ahead planning

• Quality inspections and compliance control

• Managing commissioning strategy and testing phases

• Technical review of drawings and submittals

• Coordination with design, commercial and site teams

• Supporting value engineering and risk management

Experience Required

• Residential or mixed use new build experience

• Main contractor or strong subcontractor stepping into main contracting

• Proven MEP delivery experience

• Strong understanding of installation sequencing

• Confident driving subcontractors and holding programme
