A fantastic General Manager opportunity now exists in Guildford for this exciting new leisure concept who are part of a well-respected and highly successful private group of companies.

I am searching for a General Manager who is commercially focused and a proven leader who enjoys making decisions and having the autonomy to drive the business forward.

My client is an expanding provider of family entertainment venues and the new General Manager will launch the site in Norwich at the end of year. The site will offer a range of events from Birthday parties and School clubs through to Stag and Hen Dos and Corporate events, the product is engaging and fun which the whole family will enjoy.

As the General Manager, you will be tasked with the day-to-day management of all elements to do with the site. This includes Operations, Food & Beverage, Health & Safety, and Finance, with a key focus on driving attendance through different Sales techniques. Using your experience in a similar role within the Leisure sector, you will be expected to develop and engage with your staff, ensure outstanding customer service, and maximise sales, whilst hitting your EBITDA.

• Previous experience in a management role in Leisure, Retail or Hospitality
• Managing a Food & Beverage operation, including a licensed bar, is essential
• An ability to proactively build relationships with local organisations
• An excellent track record of hitting and exceeding targets
• Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and experience implanting them
• Sound operational management
