Mercedes-Benz of Guildford are looking for a new Aftersales Manager.
The CompanySandown Motor Group has over 30 years of experience selling and servicing Mercedes-Benz cars, and has recently become a multi-franchise dealer group with Omoda Jaecoo, Chery, and Nissan aftersales.
As a privately owned group, the Sandown name has an immensely proud heritage in the industry. Their simple goal is to deliver the most outstanding service from each of their sites in Guildford, Basingstoke, Poole, Dorchester, Salisbury, Newbury, Hindhead and Epsom.
The RoleAn opportunity has arisen to join them as an Aftersales Manager at their Guildford retailer (Omoda Jaecoo, Chery and Nissan). The purpose of the role is to ensure the smooth running of the Service Department on a day-to-day basis, to maximise sales and profit opportunities and to deliver the brand experience.
The role of the Aftersales Manager is to develop aftersales strategy for the site, focusing on capturing all available revenue streams along with the development and utilisation of the Aftersales Team to achieve the business objective. A big part of this role is to ensure that brand standards are met, and legal regulations are complied with.
Main Duties and Responsibilities- Ensure that all areas of responsibility achieve and maximise profit margins within their objectives/annual budget.
- Lead and motivate the After Sales team, taking steps to create a professional and customer-focused environment.
- To continually review the financial situation, examining all accounts, daily and weekly operating controls and dealer composite figures along with franchise/industry KPI's, taking corrective measures and actions as deemed necessary.
- Monitoring compliance with all statutory regulations and ensuring brand quality and service standards are being met.
- Performance analysis to identify areas of weakness and appropriate, targeted marketing activity.
- Using the external analysis undertaken, carry out internal analysis to ensure the business is competitive within the marketplace.
- Ensure Company HR policies are followed correctly.
- Ensure that the area of responsibility complies with relevant legislation on consumer law, trade descriptions, FSA Regulations for insurance, etc.
- Ensure that steps are taken to provide a safe working environment, processes are followed, and H&S legislation is complied with.
- Previous experience within an Aftersales leadership position, ideally as an Aftersales Manager.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Experience managing KPIs, budgets, and departmental performance.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- A full UK Driving Licence.

- A Company Car will be provided as part of a remuneration package.
Pay:
Basic £50,000 OTE £65,000.00 per year
