You’ll be someone who is both comfortable working pro-actively and managing your own tasks, as well as confident collaborating with others and communicating regularly with senior managers, directors, and BDO’s partners to help businesses effectively. You’ll be encouraged to identify and draw attention to opportunities for enhancing our delivery and providing additional services to organisations we work with.
We’re looking for a Manager to join our Financial Reporting team within Business Services and Outsourcing (BSO). This is an opportunity to lead a team, build trusted relationships and deliver exceptional service to a varied portfolio of clients. You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day delivery of client assignments, from agreeing fees and managing billing and cash collection to planning resources, monitoring budgets and timescales, reviewing work and resolving issues.
You’ll play an important part in supporting your team to succeed while strengthening relationships with colleagues and clients across the firm.
- Excellent knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102, including consolidations.
- ACCA/ACA Qualified or equivalent.
- Proficient at Microsoft Office especially Excel.
- Experience of Caseware preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of IFRS preferred but not essential.
- Experience of managing a portfolio of client assignments.
- Experience of a managing a team and the delivery of assignments.
- Experience of identifying and developing new business leads.
