Food Production Operative Meldreth £13.27 per hour Immediate Start Join a busy food production team in Meldreth as a Food Production Operative , working with fresh and processed meats in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. This is an immediate-start, ongoing role with the genuine possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate. Pay: £13.27 per hour

Immediate About the Role You'll be part of a hands-on production team, processing meats through each stage of the line from raw stock to packed, palletised product ready for delivery. Full training is provided, including on the band saw, so previous meat-processing experience is a bonus but not essential. Key Duties Pick unprocessed palletised stock from the cold store Cut meat to size using a band saw (full training given) Pack processed meats to spec Palletise finished stock ready for dispatch Operate food production machinery and equipment safely and accurately Follow HACCP and food safety protocols at all times Carry out routine quality checks and monitor consistency on the line Keep work areas, tools and equipment clean and hygienic Accurately record production data, including output and any deviations Work closely with the team to hit daily production targets What We're Looking For Experience in a food production or manufacturing environment preferred Band saw experience desirable but not required training provided Basic maths for measuring and recording Good communication and teamwork skills A proactive, safety-first attitude and willingness to learn Why Apply Immediate start, ongoing hours Competitive pay at £13.27/hour Genuine route to a permanent role Full training provided no experience necessary to apply If you're reliable, safety-conscious and ready to get stuck in, we'd love to hear from you.
