Join Our Team
We are a market-leading nature data company. Our mission is to
make nature measurable and actionable at scale and accelerate finance into nature. Our platform delivers vital insights on species, habitats, and nature-related risks, helping businesses across sectors - from mining and renewables to consumer goods and financial services - make smarter, more sustainable decisions.
As global leaders in biodiversity monitoring and
eDNA analysis
, we are transforming how nature is measured. Recognised as Earthshot Prize Finalists 2024, BloombergNEF Pioneers 2024, World Economic Forum Technology Pioneers 2024, and part of the Tech Nation Future Fifty 2025, we are shaping the future of how organisations understand and protect nature.
As we enter a new phase of global growth, we are looking for a
Marketing Assistant who wants to be immersed in every part of the marketing mix. This is a brilliant entry point for someone newly graduated or 1-2 years into their marketing career who wants to build a genuine generalist skillset and get to know the varied specialisms of marketing.
What You'll Actually Do This role is varied by design. One day you might be drafting social copy for a coastal conservation story, the next you're updating web pages, formatting a sales deck, or pulling together a performance report. You'll work closely with the Marketing Executive and wider team, supporting delivery across the board rather than owning one narrow lane.
Specifically, you'll:
- Support campaign delivery - Help build, schedule, and monitor marketing campaigns across email, social, and digital channels
- Keep the website current - Make simple content and copy updates in Webflow, upload new blogs and case studies, check links and formatting
- Assist with content creation - Draft social posts, help write and edit blogs, case studies, and email copy; support with basic design edits for existing templates
- Help manage Hub Spot - Build email sends, update contact lists and workflows, support with basic reporting
- Provide sales support - Prepare and update collateral, one-pagers, and presentations; keep shared marketing materials organised and current
- Assist with reporting - Help pull together performance data from Google Analytics and Hub Spot for regular reporting to the team
- Get stuck into everything else - Events support, research, PR - whatever the team needs that week. We will provide training at every stage to ensure you learn and improve your skillset as you go
What Success Looks Like
- Reliable execution - Tasks are completed on time, to a good standard, with minimal chasing
- Growing ownership - You're gradually taking on more responsibility for specific channels or projects as your confidence builds
- Attention to detail - Website updates, campaigns, and materials are accurate, and on-brand
- Proactive support - The wider marketing team feels genuinely supported, with less on their plate because of you
- Curiosity in action
- You're asking questions, learning the tools, and starting to spot opportunities to improve how things are done - Understand the impact
- You’ll have a broad understanding of how the marketing funnel works and feeds into business objectives and KPIs - Personal growth - You've identified the areas of marketing you enjoy most and is starting to specialise
Core Skills & Experience
- 0-2 years' experience or a degree in marketing, communications, environmental science, conservation, or a related field (internships and placements count)
- A genuine interest in digital marketing - you're keen to learn about how PR, social, email, and content all fit together
- Comfortable picking up new tools quickly; any exposure to Webflow, Hub Spot, Figma, Google Analytics, Claude is a bonus but not required
- Strong written communication skills and a good eye for detail
- Well organised, able to juggle a few tasks at once, work at speed and comfortable asking for help when needed
- A real passion for sustainability, conservation, or environmental issues, ideally with some study or experience in the space (but not required if you're keen to learn)
- Above all: proactive, resourceful, and happy to get involved in whatever needs doing
