Job Description & How to Apply Below
Digital Commerce Manager (12‑Month Maternity Cover) start date ASAP Guildford | Hybrid (3 days per week in office)

Are you a commercially minded, data‑driven digital marketer who loves driving profitable growth? We’re looking for a hands‑on Digital Commerce Manager to accelerate traffic, conversion and revenue across our ecommerce channels.

This is a true Swiss Army knife role — blending performance marketing, CRO, analytics, forecasting and commercial planning. You’ll work closely with the Director of Digital Commerce to build processes, reporting and capability from the ground up while owning lower‑funnel performance end‑to‑end.

What you’ll be doing
  • Manage and optimise affiliate marketing activity (Awin + additional partners)
  • Oversee PPC, paid social, retargeting and lower‑funnel media performance
  • Transition media buying fully in‑house with minimal agency support
  • Drive ecommerce traffic, conversion, revenue and profitability
  • Own key performance metrics: ROAS, CPA, CAC, conversion rate
  • Lead A/B testing and CRO programmes
  • Build forecasts, budgets, performance models and investment plans
  • Create reporting dashboards and deliver actionable insights
  • React quickly to external demand drivers (weather, seasonality, promotions)
  • Help develop digital commerce processes, reporting and martech capability
What you’ll bring
  • Experience in Digital Commerce, Ecommerce, Performance Marketing or Growth Marketing
  • Strong hands‑on knowledge of PPC, paid social, affiliate marketing and CRO
  • Proven track record of delivering profitable online growth
  • Excellent analytical skills — modelling, forecasting, budget ownership
  • Experience building business cases and demonstrating ROI
  • Comfortable in fast‑growing, agile environments
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Able to operate strategically while staying highly hands‑on
Who you are

You think commercially. You move fast. You use data to make decisions. You’re proactive, accountable and obsessed with profitable growth — not vanity metrics. You enjoy building capability from scratch and you’re happiest when you’re rolling up your sleeves and getting stuck in. Most importantly, you know how to identify opportunities, model the impact, secure investment and deliver measurable results.
