Position: Clinical Lead for Procare Adult Community Nursing East Waverley

Overview

We are seeking an inspiring Clinical Lead to join our Adult Community Nursing service to cover maternity leave. You will provide visible leadership across Guildford and Waverley, ensuring safe, high-quality, and responsive care. The post holder will deliver a safe and high quality community nursing service in a defined locality through effective line management of the District Nursing and additional service lines teams, including the recruitment, budget, appraisals, continual professional development, key performance indicators, compliance, governance, and HR matters.

This is a 12-month role starting in November 2026.

Responsibilities
  • The post holder is responsible for the delivery of a safe and high quality community nursing service in a defined locality through the effective line management of the District Nursing and additional service lines teams including the recruitment, budget, appraisals, continual professional development, key performance indicators, compliance, governance, and HR matters.
  • This role combines strategic, operational, and clinical leadership across multiple services.
  • Lead and manage the clinical and service delivery aspects of the community nursing teams to ensure safe, high-quality care.
  • Collaborate with partners and stakeholders to support population health and service development.
  • Balance leadership responsibilities with hands-on clinical practice as required.
Qualifications
  • Registered nurse with strong community nursing experience.
  • Confident and motivating leader.
  • Skilled in communication, problem-solving, and partnership working.
  • Passionate about high-quality patient care and population health.
  • Able to balance leadership with hands-on clinical practice.
  • Ready to take a step into a leadership role.
