Description:We are currently seeking experienced Registered General Nurses (RGNs) to work across General Acute Wards at Royal Surrey, Guildford. This locum opportunity offers a variety of long day and night shifts, providing flexibility to suit your availability.
Typical shift patterns include:- Long days: 07:30–19:30
- Night shifts: 19:15–07:45
This role is ideal for nurses who are confident delivering high-quality care in a busy acute hospital environment, managing patients with a range of medical and surgical conditions.
Duties include:- Delivering safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to acute ward patients
- Comprehensive patient assessment, monitoring, and documentation
- Safe administration of medications and treatments
- Escalating clinical concerns appropriately
- Working collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team to support patient care and flow
To be eligible, you must have:
- Current NMC registration
- Recent NHS acute ward experience
- Competency using the CERNER system
- Valid NHS Smartcard
