QA Lead - FTC

Supermassive Games have produced some of the most recognisable and compelling storytelling titles in the world of AAA games. The BAFTA-winning Until Dawn, the cinematic masterclass of The Dark Pictures Anthology, the multi-award winning The Quarry, the action-packed roller coaster horror VR titles Switchback VR and Rush of Blood to the world of Little Nightmares, and many more!

We’re now looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Lead to guide and support our QA team.

This is a fixed term contract until June 2026 (we therefore cannot offer sponsorship for this vacancy)

The main responsibilities will be:

• Leading a QA team across assigned project areas.
• Defining test strategies, plans and priorities.
• Ensuring bugs are triaged effectively and communicated clearly.
• Mentoring testers and supporting their career growth.
• Collaborating with production, design and engineering leadership.

Requirements

Experience and skills that would best suit this position:

• Previous experience in a senior QA or lead role.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies and game development workflows.
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage risk, prioritise workload and communicate effectively.
• Experience with Jira or test‑management software.
