Job Description

We are seeking a Spacecraft
Quality Inspector to join our team and support the inspection and verification of high‑value engineering products throughout the manufacturing and assembly process.

This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented professional with experience in quality inspection within a highly regulated engineering environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring products meet customer, regulatory, and internal quality requirements before progressing through the production lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Perform inspections of manufactured, assembled, and integrated components to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Conduct dimensional and visual inspections using a range of inspection tools and equipment.
Review manufacturing documentation, inspection records, and quality reports.
Identify, record, and report non‑conformances, supporting investigations and corrective actions where required.
Verify that processes and products comply with company, customer, and regulatory requirements.
Support First Article Inspections (FAI) and incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities.
Work closely with manufacturing, assembly, engineering, and quality teams to resolve quality issues.
Maintain accurate quality documentation and inspection records.
Participate in audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure all inspection activities are performed in accordance with quality management systems and health and safety procedures.

Qualifications Required Skills

Proven experience as a Quality Inspector within the aerospace, space, sector.
Experience performing dimensional and visual inspections on precision‑engineered components and assemblies.
Familiarity with quality standards and quality management systems.
Experience identifying and managing non‑conformances.
Strong attention to detail and methodical approach to inspection activities.
Ability to produce accurate documentation and inspection reports.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast‑paced engineering environment.
