An independent Estate & Lettings Agency in Guildford is seeking a Junior Lettings Negotiator to join their team. This role suits someone keen to start a career in property, bringing strong customer service, communication, and organisational skills from another sector.

You will receive guidance and support while learning the full lettings process, working closely with landlords, tenants, and colleagues in a busy office environment.

What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities)

• Handling incoming lettings enquiries by phone, email, and in person
• Booking and conducting property viewings
• Registering applicants and understanding their requirements
• Matching applicants with suitable rental properties
• Assisting with negotiating and agreeing tenancies
• Providing clear communication to landlords and tenants
• Updating property listings and applicant records
• Representing the business professionally at all times

What We're Looking For (Skills & Experience)

• Transferable experience from customer service, sales, retail, hospitality, or similar roles
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Confident and professional manner
• Willingness to learn and develop within the property industry
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
• Local knowledge of Guildford or surrounding areas helpful
• Full UK Driving Licence and own car essential
