The Role

We are seeking a self-motivated Commercial Property Surveyor to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced surveyor to contribute their knowledge, develop client relationships and actively drive fee income.

You will provide expert land and property advice, acting on behalf of clients with the highest levels of professionalism and integrity. The role requires confidence in business development, strong market knowledge and the ability to identify and secure new opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with both existing and prospective clients. Actively contributing to business development and fee generation.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships within the business community.
• Maintain up-to-date office and industrial market data and manage development opportunity schedules.
• Respond promptly to enquiries for property details and marketing brochures
• Communicate effectively and professionally with clients and applicants via phone, email and written correspondence.
• Maintain strict confidentiality in all matters relating to the company and its clients.
• Keep informed of relevant legislation, Codes of Practice and industry directives.
• Use IT systems effectively, including databases, websites and in-house templates.

Experience & Requirements

• Proven experience working within a surveying practice, with client-facing responsibilities
• Demonstrable ability to generate new clients and profitable instructions
• Experience with in the commercial property market
• MRICS or Assoc
  
  RICS qualified
• Existing client base advantageous
• Strong business development skills
• Full UK driving licence
• High level of IT literacy including Microsoft Office
