Retail Assistant

Location: Brookwood Family Shop, ATC Pirbright, GU24 0DT
(outside the wire)

Pay rate: £12.71 per hour

Contract type: Permanent, full-time, 35 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 (includes some weekends)

Shifts: Various shifts with Earlies starting at 0700 and Lates starting at 1300.

We’re looking for a Retail Assistant to work at Brookwood Family Shop, Pirbright. In this role, you’ll be the friendly face of our retail unit, making sure customers have a great experience every time they visit.

• Barista duties.
• Serve customers and process payments accurately.
• Keep shelves stocked and displays looking great.
• Receive deliveries and manage stock levels.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and tidy workspace.
• Follow food hygiene and health & safety standards.
• Support with opening and closing the retail unit.
• Work as part of a team.

• You’ve lived in the UK for the past 3 years and have the legal right to work here.
• Able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is helpful, but not essential - we’ll provide full training.
• Comfortable working as part of a team and occasionally on your own.
