Your new role as the Auto Electrician Leading Hand will report into the Workshop Supervisor. Working on a Full-Time basis at our Guildford site.

The New Mining Machines Department at Wes Trac specializes in providing cutting-edge machinery solutions tailored to the evolving needs of the mining industry. Our team is dedicated to delivering innovative, reliable, and efficient Caterpillar equipment to enhance operational productivity and safety.

Monday to Friday. 10.5 hours (including a meal break)

• Lead and motivate a team of up to 10 employees within the New Machines Team.
• Overhauling electrical systems, performing diagnostics, and replacing electrical components & air-conditioning systems
• Work alongside team member to manage and complete high volume tasks efficiently
• Promote, encourage and monitor safety to a high standard within the team

• Australian Recognised Trade Certificate (Auto Electrician)
• Exposure to mining / construction equipment or other industrial areas such as agriculture or highway trucks, hire equipment is highly considered
• CAT equipment experience is highly desirable
• Team leadership experience with ability to lead from the front with Safety as this will be paramount
• Strong understanding of KPI metrics from receiving a task to component dispatch
• Ability to coach and mentor teams
