Social Worker

Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our diverse team. Responsibilities

Conduct thorough assessments to understand client needs and develop personalised support plans.
Provide guidance and resources to individuals and families facing unauthorised challenges, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Advocate on behalf of clients to secure necessary services and support.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare providers, educators, and legal professionals.
Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with organisational policies and legal standards.
Participate in ongoing professional development and diversity training to enhance cultural competence.
Promote a safe and inclusive environment for clients and colleagues from all backgrounds.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work or a related field.
Valid license or certification as required by local regulations.
Strong understanding of issues related to unauthorised social challenges and the ability to provide nonjudgmental support.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to inclusively.
Ability to work empathetically with individuals from diverse cultural, socioeconomic, and demographic backgrounds.
Experience in case management and crisis intervention is preferred.
Proficiency in documenting and managing confidential information.

Day-to-Day

Engage with clients through home visits, interviews, and community outreach.
Coordinate support services such as housing, healthcare, and legal assistance.
Attend team meetings to discuss case progress and share insights.
Respond promptly to crises or urgent client needs with sensitivity and professionalism.
Foster an environment of mutual respect, understanding, and empowerment both within the team and with clients.
