Guildford (GU1) Pay: £14.25 per hour PAYE (including holiday pay)

8 Weeks

Shifts:

Rotating day shifts (7:15am4:15pm & 12:15pm8:15pm) plus weekend shifts (8:00am8:00pm) We are looking for an experienced Complex Needs Housing Case Worker to join a 47-bed homelessness hostel supporting individuals with complex needs to rebuild their lives and move into independent accommodation. This is not a care role . You'll provide person-centred casework, helping residents overcome barriers, develop independent living skills, and access the support they need to achieve positive outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing a caseload and delivering tailored support plans Supporting residents with substance misuse, mental health needs, and complex behaviours Working closely with external agencies, including mental health, substance misuse, and social care services Completing risk assessments, safeguarding, and case records Supporting residents with housing, benefits, budgeting, and move-on plans We're looking for someone with:
Experience working in homelessness, supported housing, or a similar environment Knowledge of complex needs, mental health, and substance misuse Experience creating and managing support plans Strong safeguarding, risk management, and multi-agency working skills The confidence to work independently in a fast-paced environment If you're passionate about supporting vulnerable adults and have the experience to make an immediate impact, we'd love to hear from you.
