halow equips young adults with learning disabilities and autism to live a life of purpose.

Every year we support over 250 young adults in Surrey, helping improve their lives for good. Learning new skills, becoming more independent and leading them to live the life they’ve always wanted.

Salary: Starting from £26,000 per year plus an additional £50 per sleep-in shift.

Location: Primarily based in Guildford and Cranleigh and supporting young adults to activities within wider Surrey.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week,working 5 of 7 days, on a rolling rota.

Shifts include:

• Early, day and late shifts (sleep ins on average twice a week)
• Some weekend working

We're looking for a Supported Living Care Workerto provide exceptional person centred support and nurture independence in adults aged 18+ through our highlyreguarded Supported Living service.

New to care or looking to develop your skills?

With fully paid training including the industry recognised Care Certificate, and further development opportunities available including Positive Behaviour Support and opportunities to study for accredited

National Vocational Qualifications,we'll provide all the training and support you need to succeed.

• Helping young adults to plantheir day-to-day lives.
• Supporting our young adults to achieve their goals.
• Helping individuals develop independent living skills within their own homes.
• Encouraging people to access social activities, hobbies, work opportunities, and community events.
• Some personal care and administration of medicine when required (Full training provided).
• Reporting any concerns or potential for concern that you may have relating to an adult we support to theappropriatepersonnel.

• Resilience and adaptability
• Confidence working independently
• An understanding of learning disabilities
• Age 18+ | Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
• Willing to complete DBS check (initial cost paid by halow)
• Live within 20miles of this role, or have confirmed plans to relocate. (We do not advise moving solely for this position as we cannot guarantee a job offer at this stage.)
• Professional or personal experience supporting others
• Driving licence with access to a vehicle which can be used for organisational purposes
