As our Principal Rendering Engineer you will work closely with the Technical Director and Engineering team to develop and optimise the rendering and graphics technology we implement on our AAA projects. Your main focus will be collaborating with engineers, artists, and technical artists to design, implement, and optimise rendering features. You will be at the forefront of creating visually stunning and immersive experiences for our players.
- Develop and optimise rendering features
- Implement shaders and lighting systems
- Collaborate with artists to achieve exceptional visual quality
- Optimize performance and memory usage
- Maintain and enhance the rendering pipeline
- Research and implement cutting‑edge rendering techniques
- Provide technical guidance to the team
- Significant experience in real-time rendering and graphics programming
- Proficiency in C++ and shader programming languages (e.g., HLSL, GLSL)
- Strong understanding of rendering algorithms and techniques
- Experience with Unreal Engine or other modern game engines
- Knowledge of performance profiling and optimisation techniques
- Excellent problem‑solving and debugging skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Previous experience shipping AAA titles is a plus
- At least one or two extra languages under your belt
- Previous experience building large‑scale, real‑time, multiplayer games
- International AAA game projects
