Senior UI Engineer

A new Senior UI Engineer position has opened in our Guildford studio for someone keen to develop user interfaces and systems for our titles. This position will work closely with our UI Artists, Designers and Engineers to create intuitive UI experiences for our players.

As our Senior UI Engineer
, you will:

• Design, implement, and optimize UI features and systems

• Collaborate with designers and artists to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces

• Work closely with the engineering team to ensure efficient integration of UI elements into the game

• Debug and resolve UI-related issues and performance bottlenecks

• Stay up-to-date with the latest UI design trends and best practices

• Contribute to the overall improvement of UI development processes

• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members

What we're looking to see on your CV:

• Demonstrable experience as a software engineer, with a focus on UI development

• Strong proficiency in C++ and object-oriented programming

• Experience with UI development using frameworks in Unreal Engine

• Familiarity of UI design principles and best practices

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities to work with multidisciplinary teams

• At least one, or two extra programming languages under your belt

• Experience with 3D diegetic UI development using material and shader

• Previous experience in building large scale, realtime, multiplayer games
