Duties of a Roadside Vehicle Technician:

Respond promptly to roadside breakdown assistance requests within Guildford and Surrey region
Diagnose and repair a diverse range of vehicles, from city cars to 4x4s and commercial vehicles, on-site
Work independently using a fully equipped company van
Accurately identify mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic issues and implement effective repairs
Communicate professionally with customers in distressing situations, offering reassurance and support
As a Roadside Vehicle Technician maintain accurate records of work carried out and vehicle details
Ensure safety procedures are adhered to at all times, and vehicle recovery is completed efficiently

Requirements of a Roadside Vehicle Technician :

Qualified to at least IMI/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
Proven experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic issues on a wide range of vehicles
Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
Ability to work independently and manage workloads methodically
Friendly, calm, and charismatic personality to represent the company positively in customer interactions
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, with shifts scheduled a week in advance
