About This Role URGENTLY HIRING — TODDLER TEACHER! Little Sprouts Learning Center | North Guilford, CT

Little Sprouts Learning Center is looking for a caring, dependable, and energetic Toddler Teacher to join our team as soon as possible! Little Sprouts Learning Center is urgently seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Toddler Teacher to join our team in North Guilford, CT.

Our toddler classroom is a busy, playful, and nurturing environment where children are developing independence, language, friendships, and a growing sense of who they are. We’re looking for a teacher who understands that toddlers learn through play, exploration, relationships, and plenty of hands‑on experiences.

At Little Sprouts, we are a nonprofit early childhood program with a strong focus on social‑emotional development, play‑based learning, and meaningful connections with nature. We value teachers who take the time to truly know the children in their care and who recognize that every diaper change, mealtime, story, outdoor adventure, and comforting hug is part of a young child’s learning experience.

This is a great opportunity for someone who loves the toddler years and wants to be part of a small, supportive early childhood community where teachers, children, and families can grow together.

We are looking to fill this position as soon as possible. What You’ll Do

As a Toddler Teacher at Little Sprouts Learning Center, you’ll provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where toddlers can learn, play, and grow. You’ll work alongside a co‑teacher to plan age‑appropriate, play‑based activities, support children’s social‑emotional development, and guide them through daily routines including meals, diapering/toileting, rest time, and outdoor play.

You’ll build positive relationships with children and families, communicate about each child’s day and development, maintain a clean and organized classroom, and work collaboratively with our teaching team. Most importantly, you’ll bring patience, flexibility, enthusiasm, and a genuine love for working with toddlers each day.
