Overview

The Operator II, Water & Wastewater will operate and maintain assigned facilities and actively support the Operations Lead Operator & Supervisor. The Operator will be part of an on-call rotation requiring night and weekend coverage as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain assigned water and wastewater facilities.
  • Support the Operations Lead Operator & Supervisor in daily operations.
  • Be available for on-call rotation, including night and weekend coverage as required.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the water field or related industry.
  • Valid and active Grade II Water Operator License or Grade III Wastewater license (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
  • Demonstrated communication skills.
  • Computer literate in Windows and MS Office.
  • Available after hours and on-call work as required.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements.
  • OSHA 10 General Industry Certification, or ability to obtain during pre-employment (company-provided online training).
  • Obtain and maintain a DOT medical card and pass pre-employment drug screen.
  • Valid US Driver's License.
