Job OverviewAs a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase your organization and time management skills, and establish retailer relationships while being the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory levels and support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations as needed. On occasion you may also work with other products from other companies in the stores that you service.
Salaryand Schedule Details
- Your starting pay will be $17.00 to $18.00 depending on your skills and experience.
- Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
- This is a Part‑Time position with a variable weekly schedule.
- Average weekly hours are between 8–10 hours.
- Availability the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends, is required.
- Day‑to‑day engagement:
Using a mobile device provided by Hallmark, you will restock, organize, and monitor inventory of Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department; communicate with supervisors, report time, provide feedback, and complete required surveys. You will interact professionally with store staff, management, and customers, and be responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores. - Holiday support:
During peak seasonal demand (Valentine’s, Easter, Mother’s, Father’s, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas), you may be expected to work additional days, extended hours, or on the holiday itself, including weekends. - Department rescets:
When appointed, you may help build and install Hallmark fixtures and relocate card departments. Advance notice of at least two weeks is provided; work may occur evenings or weekends. - Team vision:
You will be part of Hallmark’s field organization, supporting other merchandisers in the network as needed.
This is a physically demanding role requiring you to push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 lbs routinely and up to 50 lbs occasionally. You must kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout the day, and may need to climb stairs or step ladders.
Basic Qualifications- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Read, write, and understand English.
- Capable of lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs frequently, 50 lbs occasionally.
- Operate a digital hand‑held device for documents.
- Access a Wi‑Fi network and internet.
- Have reliable transportation to travel between assigned stores.
Part‑time employees with a schedule of less than 30 hours per week are eligible for voluntary benefits (dental, vision, critical illness, accident insurance, hospital indemnity, and minimum essential coverage).
