We are looking for a Service Technician with a strong mechanical service background, preferably in the Propane Gas, Natural Gas, Oil Heat, Gas Plumbing, Gas Appliance Repair or HVAC fields.

Job responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Install propane and oil tanks and gas lines and pressure test gas service lines to make sure system passes all state & local installation/permit requirements.

• Repair and maintaining propane and fuel oil appliances; and providing service to our residential, commercial and industrial customers. Convert gas appliances. Examine regulators, gas lines and appliance connections for possible defects or gas leaks.

• Inspect vehicle daily and report any problems in accordance with company policy and DOT regulations

Requirements


• CT Gas Fitters License G-2, Oil Burner License B-2, or HVAC S-1, S-2, S10 License

• High School Graduate or Equivalent, Trade School Preferred

• Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) containing a Hazmat, Tank and Air Brake Endorsements and DOT Medical preferred or must be able to obtain within 180 days of employment.

• Ability to pass pre-employment DOT physical, Drug Test and Homeland Security Background Check.

-HVAC or Propane/Heating Oil: 1 year (Required)

Salary Description

$28 - $35 per hour
