Bank Domestic Assistant (Guisborough | Flexible Hours | £12.25/hr)
Job Overview
We're recruiting a Domestic Assistant to support a busy care home. The successful candidate may also be required to carry out additional duties as reasonably requested.
Location
Guisborough Manor Care Home, Woodhouse Triangle, Middlesbrough Road (service premises; occasional work from other locations may be required).
Responsibilities
- Provide cleaning services within the organisation to a high standard.
- Implement actions to meet and maintain cleaning standards.
- Evaluate standards of cleaning.
- Follow legislative requirements and relative regulations.
- Promote and protect the welfare of those supported by the service.
- Develop effective working relationships with colleagues within the service.
- Maintain and develop relationships with residents’ loved ones.
- Seek opportunities for personal and professional growth.
- Act as a role‑model and ambassador for the service.
- Be professional, polite, and reasonable at all times.
- Understand the regulatory framework (including CQC requirements).
- Attend mandatory and other training as directed by management.
- Follow all policies and procedures relevant to the role.
- Embrace learning opportunities.
Essential Criteria
- Good English (written and verbal).
- Communication skills to build rapport with residents and colleagues.
- Problem‑solving skills to adapt to and address situations quickly and recognise/report situations requiring protection.
Previous Experience – Not required (previous experience is an advantage).
