We are looking for dedicated and experienced Support workers to join our team!
Arran House is a supported living service for individuals with a learning disability or mental health diagnosis. We support people to live as independently as possible and our aim is to learn new life skills to enable them to move on to living in the community in their own home. To achieve these outcomes, we work with the individual (and their family, friends, and wider supporter networks) to create strengths-based support plans.
As we are all unique, there is no one model of support. Instead, we offer flexible staff teams and structures, able to react and adjust to changing needs and ambitions. This ensures support is individual focused, rather than organisation focused.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and mentor a team of support workers to deliver exceptional care
- Develop, implement and review person-centred care plans
- Provide practical and emotional support with daily living, personal care, and activities
- Monitor outcomes and document changes in care or wellbeing
- Liaise with families, professionals, and colleagues to ensure consistent, tailored support
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding, policies, and CQC standards
- Support the onboarding and training of junior staff
