Senior Account Manager

Butler Rose North Practice is supporting a well-established and growing accountancy practice in West Yorkshire with the recruitment of a Senior Account Manager.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practice professional looking to join a client-focused firm where they can take ownership of a diverse portfolio, lead and develop a team, and play an important role in the firms continued success.

• Manage a portfolio of owner-managed businesses, limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships.
• Review statutory accounts, corporation tax returns, and personal tax returns.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing proactive accounting, tax, and business advice.
• Lead client meetings and identify opportunities to add value.
• Manage workflow, deadlines, and service delivery across your portfolio.
• Mentor and support junior accountants, providing technical guidance and coaching.
• Assist clients with cloud accounting software including Xero, Sage, Quick Books, and Dext.
• Support practice growth through exceptional client service and business development activities.

• ACCA, ICAEW, or CIMA qualified.
• Minimum of 5 years experience within a UK accountancy practice.
• Strong experience managing client portfolios.
• Knowledge of accounts preparation, corporation tax, and personal tax compliance.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
• Previous experience reviewing work and supporting junior team members.
• Cloud accounting experience would be advantageous.
